The Membership Committee has one of the most difficult tasks in the NAACP. That is to recruit new members and retain current ones.

Carol Wilson-Jones and her committee has employed several methodologies in an effort to accomplish this. Current members are notified of their upcoming renewal date by mail, telephone and e-mail.

Recruiting efforts are made with membership drives in local churches and other venues.

The Membership Committee will continue to use new, as well as tried and true methods to recruit new members as well as retain current ones.
